When you arrive, head around the right side of the house through the white gate, and follow the path to the back. You’ll spot the stairs—just head down to the glass door, and you’re in. Pets: We happily welcome pets for an additional $100 fee/pet (max 2 pets)—because we know they’re part of the family too! That said, we kindly ask that you help keep the home in great shape. If there’s any damage or accidents, especially to carpets, a $250 cleaning fee will apply. Additional damages may incur further charges. Thanks for understanding and helping us keep the space comfortable and clean for all guests! Note: The house has been separated into two different AirBnb’s (upstairs and basement) so there may be times when you will be sharing the house with other guests upstairs. You will notice that the thermostat has a lockbox on it. We have had issues with guests adjusting the thermostat, which either causes the A/C to freeze up or makes the basement unbearably cold for the guests down there. If it gets too warm or cold, let us know, and we will be happy to make the adjustments for you. Usually, the thermostat is kept between 71-72ºF. Your Hosts: Your hosts, Jen and Brian, are Salt Lake City locals who’ve lived here their entire lives. They know all the best ski slopes, lakes, hikes, hidden gems, and local spots—and they’re happy to share tips or answer even the tiniest questions to make your stay smooth, fun, and unforgettable. Whether you’re planning an epic adventure or a chill weekend, they’ve got you covered with insider knowledge and warm hospitality. Danny is also a Northern Utah Native and loves the outdoors. If the backcountry is your playground he has suggestions for hiking, kayaking, biking, or just sightseeing.

July 2025 4.00Great location, great hosts, had everything we needed. The only down side is the amount of noise we heard from the renters upstairs. You can hear every footstep and conversation. We could even hear the clanging dishes when they were cooking.
My stay here was much needed. I was on the road all day and needed a place to stay and rest up. I was responded to quickly about my reservation and they were very flexible with my check in time, that was very late. The space was private and quiet, overall great place.
Jennilyn was a great host! - Always quick communication (like, super quick) and definitely felt like she truly cared that I enjoyed your stay and felt comfortable. The home is in a quiet neighborhood that is still walkable to several restaurants, grocery store, etc. The home is very spacious and well lit given that it's a basement apt. Another HUGE perk was, if you have a dog with you, you have your own fenced in back yard space - so I could just open the door and let my dog out without any worries at all, which was super nice. I have 0 complaints about my stay at Jennilyn's home and would definitely recommend!
The hosts were very attentive and the unit was clean and amenable. However, the listing gives the impression that the host lives in the house which is not the case. The upstairs is another rental and we had issues with noise and parking. The walls (and ceiling) are paper thin and you will hear every footstep upstairs. The host responded quickly to the noise complaint, but just be aware that they are not on the property to directly address concerns. Overall, I would not stay here again with my family (with young children).
Very responsive, clean. Very comfortable.
A great base for experiencing the Salt Lake Valley. Jennilyn's neigborhood was quiet and peaceful, near the Frisbee Golf Course and Big Cottonwood Creek. A great place to stay.
Great place, super close to center of Holladay.
Great place. Clean and well stocked. Great back yard for our dogs. Thank you so much!
