Pets: Pets are not allowed. Note: The house has been separated into two different Units (upstairs and basement) separated by a door locked on both sides so neither guest can pass through. There may be times when you will be sharing the house with other guests downstairs. You will notice that the thermostat has a lockbox on it. We have had issues with guests adjusting the thermostat, which either causes the A/C to freeze up or makes the basement unbearably cold for the guests down there. If it gets too warm, let us know, and we will be happy to make the adjustments for you. Usually, the thermostat is kept between 71-72ºF. Your Hosts: Your hosts, Jen and Brian, are Salt Lake City locals who’ve lived here their entire lives. They know all the best ski slopes, lakes, hikes, hidden gems, and local spots—and they’re happy to share tips or answer even the tiniest questions to make your stay smooth, fun, and unforgettable. Whether you’re planning an epic adventure or a chill weekend, they’ve got you covered with insider knowledge and warm hospitality. Danny is also a Northern Utah Native and loves the outdoors. If the backcountry is your playground he has suggestions for hiking, kayaking, biking, or just sightseeing.

August 2025 4.001st, the good: The space was clean, the beds were the most comfortable that any of us have ever slept in. The kitchen was roomy and the amenities…coffee, shampoo, etc were all great. Communication was good. Bathrooms were great. Not so good: (And of course, this is on me.) I read in the amenities it had Hvac, but I did not read through the detailed notes at the bottom of the description that said the AC would be locked. Both nights were hot. We got in late and I reached out to the house but they were unavailable. However, the next day they turned the AC down a bit. The 2nd night was still pretty warm, but not as bad as the first night. Had I read the HVAC controls were in a lock box I would not have stayed here. The beds were super comfy, but when you’re sweating, even uncovered, it’s not comfortable enough to overcome the discomfort. Plus the tile was broken along the edge, separating the living area and the kitchen. And there was various bits of damage throughout the unit.

July 2025 5.00This property is the upstairs and the downstairs is also an Airbnb property that can be rented separately. There are separate entrances and separate backyards, but you will hear the tenants downstairs. The host team was very responsive and the location was perfect. Being within a short walk of a park was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again, and book out the upstairs and downstairs next time for a family reunion.
